Green energy — a direction for the future: solar panels installed on the roof of IUKR PC
A modern solar energy system has been installed on the roof of IUKR Polytechnic College. The project supports the development of energy-efficient infrastructure and creates new opportunities for students’ hands-on training in energy, automation and digital monitoring.
IUKR Polytechnic College continues to develop modern renewable energy technologies. Solar panels have been installed on the roof of the college building to generate electricity and improve the energy efficiency of its educational infrastructure.
The project was implemented with technical assistance from the TBEA corporation. The system includes solar modules, equipment for energy conversion and storage, electrical cabinets, protective devices and a digital control and monitoring platform.
The installed system makes it possible to track electricity generation and consumption, equipment status and performance in real time. Digital monitoring ensures more precise control of energy processes and promotes the rational use of resources.
The project is especially important for the learning process. The solar energy system can become a practical training base for students of technical specialties. Students will be able to study how photovoltaic modules, energy storage systems, automated control and intelligent monitoring work.
The project brings together several promising areas:
solar and renewable energy;
storage and efficient use of electricity;
automation of energy processes;
digital monitoring and data analysis;
hands-on training of future specialists.
The introduction of the solar energy system is an important step in developing the “Green University” concept, which involves energy-efficient technologies, careful use of resources and a modern learning environment.
For IUKR Polytechnic College, this is not only an infrastructure upgrade but also an opportunity to develop teaching at the intersection of energy, engineering and information technology.
IUKR PC — knowledge, practice and modern technology for a sustainable future.
IUKR PC teachers successfully completed an English language programme
IUKR Polytechnic College presented certificates to teachers who successfully completed an English language programme and presented their final projects.
IUKR Polytechnic College held a ceremony to present certificates to participants of an English language programme.
The certificates confirm successful completion of a course aimed at developing teachers’ language and professional skills, as well as participation in project work with a final presentation of their own projects.
During the course, participants improved their English, public speaking, presentation and project pitching skills. The knowledge and experience gained can be used in teaching, professional communication and future project work.
The programme placed special emphasis on the practical use of English in a professional environment, developing communication skills and building confidence when presenting one’s own projects.
Such educational initiatives help improve teachers’ qualifications, broaden their professional opportunities and develop an international academic environment at the college.
IUKR Polytechnic College continues to create conditions for professional growth, the development of language skills and the introduction of modern approaches in education.
Green energy — a direction for the future: modern technologies in training IUKR PC students
IUKR Polytechnic College is developing a green energy programme that combines hands-on training, modern energy technologies, automation and digital monitoring. Students master in-demand skills at the intersection of energy, engineering and IT.
Modern energy is changing rapidly under the influence of digital technologies, automation and the transition to renewable energy sources. IUKR Polytechnic College pays special attention to these areas when training future technical specialists.
The learning process focuses not only on theoretical knowledge but also on practical skills. Students become familiar with modern energy equipment and study how solar energy systems work, control and monitoring technologies, and the possibilities of automating energy processes.
The integration of energy and information technology is especially important. Today an energy specialist needs to understand not only how electrical systems are built, but also modern digital tools, data collection and analysis systems, automated control and software solutions.
Student training places special emphasis on the following areas:
⚡ Hands-on work with modern equipment
☀️ Solar and renewable energy
💻 Automation and digital monitoring of energy systems
🔋 Modern technologies for energy storage and efficient energy use
🛠️ Developing engineering and practical skills
This approach allows students to gain knowledge that meets the industry’s current requirements, take part in practical and educational projects and develop professional skills at the intersection of energy, engineering, automation and programming.
Developing green energy at IUKR Polytechnic College is not only about studying promising technologies but also about training a new generation of specialists able to work with modern energy and digital systems.
IUKR Polytechnic College — knowledge, practice and technology for the future.

Student industrial internship: metering and monitoring of electricity consumption
IUKR Polytechnic College students are completing a two-week industrial internship aimed at gaining practical knowledge and skills in metering and monitoring electricity consumption.
IUKR Polytechnic College students are completing a two-week industrial internship aimed at gaining practical knowledge and skills in metering and monitoring electricity consumption.
The internship includes an inspection of the metering devices installed in the Ak-Ordo residential area, including at facilities connected to transformer substations. The main focus is on analysing the state of the electricity metering system, checking the operation of installed meters and identifying possible causes of electricity losses.
During practical sessions, students learn the operating principles and specifics of metering devices, take part in audits, work with documentation and analyse the data collected. This format allows them to reinforce theoretical knowledge directly at real facilities and gain an insight into the professional work of specialists in the energy sector.
A separate stage of the programme will be a visit to the CAS operations centre — the centralised management of the automated electricity metering system (ASKUE). Here students will learn how remote monitoring of metering devices is organised and the basic principles of the automated commercial electricity metering system.
The industrial internship allows future specialists to become familiar with modern approaches to electricity metering, gain practical experience and better understand the work of specialised departments and technical services.
Upon completion of the programme, students who successfully complete all assigned tasks will receive certificates of completion of the industrial internship.
IUKR Polytechnic College continues to place special emphasis on practice-oriented learning and on training specialists ready to work with modern technologies and equipment.

Green energy and the education of the future: IUKR develops a hands-on learning environment
IUKR is developing its “Green University” concept: solar panels are being installed on the roof of an academic building, and the Kyrgyz-Chinese laboratory “Clean Energy and Energy Storage” operates at the Polytechnic College. The new infrastructure will be used not only to improve energy efficiency but also for students’ hands-on training.
The International University of the Kyrgyz Republic continues to develop modern approaches to energy efficiency, environmental technologies and hands-on student training. One of the key areas of this work is the “Green University” concept, which brings together educational initiatives, research and the introduction of renewable energy sources.
With the support of the TBEA corporation, solar photovoltaic panels are being installed on the roof of one of IUKR’s academic buildings. The new equipment is intended not only to generate electricity but also to serve as a practical training base for students of technical specialties.
Future specialists will be able to learn first-hand how solar energy systems work and study the conversion and distribution of electricity, energy efficiency, equipment operation and the use of renewable energy sources.
In an interview with the news agency 24.kg, the director of IUKR Polytechnic College Urmat Moldosanov noted that the development of green energy must go hand in hand with training specialists who have up-to-date knowledge and practical skills.
Once installation is complete, the solar panels will be able to cover part of the university infrastructure’s electricity needs. At the same time they will become part of the learning process, allowing students to study modern technologies on working equipment rather than only in theory.
Another important area is the work of the Kyrgyz-Chinese joint laboratory “Clean Energy and Energy Storage”, opened at IUKR Polytechnic College.
The laboratory opened on 2 July 2026 and is intended for research, the exchange of knowledge and technology, and the development of new educational programmes in modern energy.
The project was implemented in cooperation between the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Xi’an Jiaotong University, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China.
The laboratory can host research in renewable energy, energy accumulation and storage, intelligent energy management and other promising technological fields.
For Polytechnic College students this infrastructure is particularly important. It allows them to gain practical experience, work with modern equipment and take part in educational and research projects related to real engineering problems.
Thus, the installation of solar panels and the development of the “Clean Energy and Energy Storage” laboratory are becoming part of a single modern learning environment that brings together education, practice, science and international cooperation.
For IUKR this is another step towards a technologically advanced and environmentally responsible university infrastructure, and for students it is an opportunity to gain in-demand skills in the energy of the future.
